In the early morning hours of March 12, 2022, a burst of violence shattered the pre-dawn quiet of Baltimore's Little Italy. Olen Smith Jr., a 39-year-old man, was leaving Mo's Seafood restaurant on Stiles Street when his life was cut tragically short. He was ambushed and shot multiple times, the fatal attack unfolding in the 800 block of the street. First responders found Smith unresponsive in the roadway, suffering from numerous gunshot wounds.
