On the evening of May 28, 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the lively atmosphere of Baltimore's Inner Harbor, tragically cutting short the life of 17-year-old Neal Mack. The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on East Pratt Street, a popular waterfront promenade. Mack was in the company of a 17-year-old girl who was also struck by the gunfire but survived her injuries.
