In the summer of 2022, the life of 52-year-old Tony Dewitt came to a violent end on a street in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of July 22nd, police responded to a shot spotter alert in the 1600 block of Montpelier Street. There, they discovered Dewitt suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics who arrived at the scene pronounced him deceased. The Baltimore Police Department's homicide unit has taken control of the ongoing investigation into his death.
