On August 24, 2022, Irvin Paredes, a 30-year-old resident of Langley Park, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed in Hyattsville, MD. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of University Boulevard. Patrol officers responding to the scene found Paredes in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
