Dwone Bryant, a 50-year-old Black male, found himself in the midst of a violent day in Baltimore on December 26, 2022. It was on this day that his life was tragically cut short in the 3800 block of West Belvedere Avenue. Shortly before noon, police responded to a call and discovered Bryant suffering from a gunshot wound to his back.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, and Bryant was quickly transported to a nearby hospital in an effort to save his life.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. His death was one of several homicides that occurred during a particularly violent period in the city.
