In 2003, the quiet community of Swansea, South Carolina, was rocked by the violent death of 66-year-old L.H. Tindall. A neighbor made the grim discovery after noticing Tindall's home engulfed in flames and rushing inside to pull him from the blaze. However, it was soon revealed that the fire was not the cause of his death. An investigation by the Lexington County Coroner's office determined that Tindall had been shot in the head.
