Andrew John Mazur, a 24-year-old deputy with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2003, while on duty. Born in Montana, Mazur was a dedicated officer who had graduated from The Citadel in 2001 and attended the Police Academy in Columbia. He was known for his commitment to his job, his love for his family, and his faith. Mazur was a member of the Greenville County Dive Team and attended Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church.
