Officer Allen Lee Jacobs, a 28-year-old member of the Greenville Police Department, tragically lost his life in the line of duty on March 18, 2016. Jacobs, who was born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, had a distinguished career both in the military and law enforcement. He served as a Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army and was a decorated Iraq War veteran.
