In the quiet, early morning hours of April 12, 2014, in Sunset, South Carolina, the life of 38-year-old Michael Shane Collins was tragically cut short. Deputies were dispatched to a residence at 120 Hannah Road around 2:40 a.m. following a 911 call about a gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, they discovered Collins deceased, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
