In the quiet town of Estill, South Carolina, a young man's life was cut tragically short in the summer of 2014. Travis Tritt Koon, a 21-year-old from the nearby community of Hampton, was fatally shot on the morning of Saturday, August 16, 2014. Born on June 2, 1993, in Walterboro, he was the son of Wanda P. and Harold Hargrove and the late Frankie Samuel Koon.
