Houston Chapman, a 22-year-old resident of Liberty, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 10, 2014, in a shootout at the Forest View Apartments on Summit Drive. The incident also claimed the life of his uncle, Steven Chapman, aged 42. According to reports, the shootout occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex, marking the first homicide in Liberty in over a decade.
