Steven Wayne Neese, a 31-year-old man from Piedmont, South Carolina, was found dead on the night of December 19, 2021, near Liberty, SC. According to the Pickens County Coroner’s Office, Neese died from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred after a 911 caller reported hearing gunshots around 10:40 p.m. on Stewart Gin Road^1^.
