In the spring of 2015 in Longs, South Carolina, the life of 14-year-old Taizaun Dewitt was tragically cut short. On a Friday evening in early May, gunshots echoed on Pint Circle. A witness, driving home from work, discovered the young male staggering down the stairs of a residence before collapsing onto the street. Recognizing him, she attempted to rush him to Seacoast Medical Center in Little River for help.
