Carey Michael Mauldin, aged 40, tragically lost his life on May 22, 2015, in Chesnee, South Carolina. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 5:15 a.m., when Mauldin was found dead in his home from multiple gunshot wounds. His girlfriend, Casey Lee Scruggs, was also present during the attack and sustained severe injuries.
