Jamon Samuel Kay, a 19-year-old from Pendleton, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on September 4, 2015, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred on U.S. Highway 76 in Pendleton at approximately 1:20 a.m. Kay was traveling in a silver SUV when shots were fired from a red Ford Ranger, striking him in the head. Despite being rushed to AnMed Health Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries in the emergency room.
