Richard Richshon Devell Sims, a 24-year-old resident of Newberry, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on November 1, 2015. Sims was attending a birthday party at the Drayton Community Center in Newberry when he was shot multiple times in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred around 2:55 a.m., and Sims was pronounced dead at the scene due to gunshot wounds to the chest. The party, which had approximately 300 attendees, turned violent, leading to Sims' untimely death.
