On a Sunday morning, February 21, 2016, the body of 35-year-old Farah Reza Khan, a female resident of Townville, South Carolina, was discovered by a fisherman at a public boat ramp on Saluda Lake in Easley. The Pickens County Coroner's Office later confirmed her identity and determined her death was a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the head.
