In the early morning of March 30, 2016, the life of 32-year-old David Tillman was cut short in a residence on Highway 385 in Bennettsville, a town near Florence, South Carolina. Deputies from the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the home in response to a violent domestic dispute. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Tillman inside, deceased from a fatal gunshot wound.
