On the evening of March 31, 2016, a tragic event unfolded on the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston, South Carolina, ending the life of 24-year-old Lindsey Priscilla Bedenk. Authorities discovered Bedenk and a 30-year-old man, Charles William Best Jr., in the pedestrian lane of the bridge with severe trauma.
