On a summer evening in St. Helena Island, South Carolina, the life of 21-year-old Marquise Tyquan Singleton was tragically cut short. On July 31, 2016, Singleton was discovered in his vehicle on Sam Doyle Drive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A passing motorist found him unresponsive and courageously pulled him from the car to administer CPR until emergency medical services arrived.
