Jontae DeCosta, a 19-year-old from Charleston, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on August 4, 2016. The incident occurred on Charleston's east side, where DeCosta was fatally shot. The Charleston County Coroner's Office confirmed his identity shortly after the incident. The shooting also resulted in another individual being wounded.
