In the summer of 2016, a single act of violence brought a tragic end to the life of 19-year-old Damarco Jones. On the evening of August 13th, Jones was at his grandparents' home on Madden Road in North Charleston, South Carolina. The young man was sitting outside with his grandfather when the sound of gunfire shattered the night. He was struck by a fatal bullet to the head.
