In the fall of 2016, a tragic event unfolded in the parking lot of the Berkeley County Courthouse in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, involving a 40-year-old man named George E. Murphy. On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, authorities were called to the scene following reports of a man with a gun.
