Charles L. Rodgers, aged 69, passed away on November 8, 2016, in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. His death was part of a tragic incident that also claimed the life of Charles Stanton Barnett, aged 50. Both men were found deceased in a home on Little Texas Road. The coroner ruled their deaths as homicides, with Rodgers dying from a gunshot wound to the head and Barnett from a gunshot wound to the pelvis.
