Death by Force

Farris "Mickey" Short, aged 63, was found dead on June 19, 2017, in Chesterfield, South Carolina. His body was discovered in a soybean field off Hurst Cemetery Lane, next to his Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The truck was not running, and all its doors were closed. Investigators believe that Short was shot inside his truck and then pulled out onto the ground. His pants pockets were turned out, suggesting a possible robbery motive.
