Courtney Covington, a 38-year-old resident of Chesterfield, South Carolina, was found dead on October 1, 2022. Covington's body was discovered on Hunts Mill Road with multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was promptly ruled a homicide by the authorities. The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. on the day of the incident.
