In the quiet community of Chesterfield, South Carolina, a tragic discovery was made on the evening of October 1, 2022. Courtney Covington, a 38-year-old man, was found deceased on Hunts Mill Road. The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office responded to a call around 6:30 p.m. and upon arrival, they found Covington with multiple gunshot wounds. His death was quickly ruled a homicide, launching an intensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding his murder.
