In the late hours of a November night in Darlington, South Carolina, a residence on Flat Creek Road became the scene of a fatal shooting. On November 29, 2017, patrol deputies were dispatched to the home around 11:30 p.m., where they discovered the body of 55-year-old Larry Keith Moody. The Darlington County Coroner pronounced Moody dead at the scene from a gunshot wound. An autopsy was later conducted in Newberry to confirm the cause of death.
