The incident, which police described as a random shooting, sent shockwaves through the close-knit community. Whitesell was a beloved employee at the iconic local market, known for her bright personality and heart of service.
The chaos unfolded in the late afternoon when a man entered the store and

Whitesell was struck by multiple bullets from a handgun and was pronounced dead at the scene.
