On September 27, 2022, Betty Reynolds, aged 71, and her son, Barry Reynolds, aged 40, were found dead in their home in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The discovery was made by law enforcement officers who were conducting a welfare check at their residence on Saddle Ridge Road. Both Betty and Barry had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled as homicides.
