Germaine McCoy, an 18-year-old from Lamar, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 14, 2018. The incident occurred at the Cambridge Apartments on Jackson Street, where McCoy was fatally shot. According to reports, the shooting happened on a Saturday afternoon, and McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene. The Darlington County Coroner, Todd Hardee, confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound.
