Devin Mason, 27, male, was a Darlington County deputy who died on July 1, 2025, after an ambush inside a home near Lamar, South Carolina. Around 1:30 a.m., he and another deputy went to a residence on Old Timers Court after receiving a tip that a man and a woman with outstanding warrants were inside.
