In the summer of 2018, a visit to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, ended in tragedy for 24-year-old Sylvester Lee Bellamy Jr. The male victim was in town for a new job and had only been in the city for a matter of hours before his life was cut short. On the evening of June 8th, Bellamy was in a public restroom located near the bustling area of Ocean Boulevard and 12th Avenue North when he was fatally shot.
