In the summer of 2018, the quiet community of McCormick, South Carolina, was shaken by a grim discovery that unfolded behind a mobile home. On July 10th, the remains of 48-year-old Nathan David Smith, a male resident of the area, were found in a burn pile, alongside those of another individual, Ruth Huetter.
