Shaquile Akins, a 25-year-old resident of Barnwell, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on March 2, 2019. The incident occurred on the 700 block of Elko Street in Williston, SC. Akins was pronounced dead at approximately 11 p.m. at Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound, and the manner of death was classified as a homicide. An autopsy was performed to confirm these findings.
