In the summer of 2019, the life of 43-year-old Patrick Sierra was brought to a tragic and violent end. On the evening of Friday, June 21st, he was found shot to death alongside 45-year-old Lisa Faith Robinson at a home on Lilly Maid Drive in Piedmont, South Carolina. Both victims died at the scene from gunshot wounds. The man responsible for their deaths was Franky Roach, the ex-husband of Lisa Robinson.
The investigation into the double homicide quickly led authorities to Franky Roach,
who was located at a nearby convenience store shortly after the shooting. He was taken into custody by Anderson County sheriff's deputies and subsequently charged with two counts of murder and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime. During his initial court appearance, Roach made the claim that the killings were an act of self-defense.
Further investigation by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office revealed a history of domestic issues between Roach and his ex-wife, Lisa Robinson. It was reported that the shooting was the culmination of an ongoing dispute. Evidence presented during the legal proceedings indicated that Roach had gone to the home on Lilly Maid Drive and, following a confrontation, shot both his ex-wife and Patrick Sierra.
Franky Roach was later convicted on both counts of murder for the deaths of Patrick Sierra and Lisa Robinson. He was also found guilty of the weapons charge. Following his conviction, Roach was sentenced to a significant prison term for his crimes, bringing a measure of closure to the families of the victims after a painful and public ordeal.
