On the warm evening of August 29, 2019, in Darlington, South Carolina, the life of 23-year-old James L. Williams Jr. was tragically cut short. A Black male, Williams was at a residence on Larrys Drive, located off Rogers Road, when violence erupted. Around 10:00 p.m., he was fatally wounded by a gunshot.
