In the late hours of a November night in 2019, the life of Montresse Dudely, a 41-year-old Black male from Judson, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On November 30th, in a field across from a nightclub on Heustess Road in Dillon County, Dudely was shot and killed. When law enforcement and emergency services arrived at the scene, he was pronounced dead by the Dillon County Coroner, Donnie Grimsley. The cause of death was determined to be gunshot wounds.
