Corporal Andrew John Gillette, a 37-year-old deputy with the Sumter County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina, tragically lost his life on February 25, 2020. Gillette was serving an eviction notice at a residence on Thomas Sumter Highway in Dalzell when the incident occurred.
