In the early hours of August 2, 2020, in Cayce, South Carolina, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet on Allen Street, leaving a scene of violence that would claim the life of 19-year-old Khajari Brown. Officers from the Cayce Department of Public Safety responded to a 911 call about shots being fired at approximately 2 a.m. and discovered a chaotic scene with three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
