On a Friday night, the 13th of November in 2020, in Burton, South Carolina, the life of 26-year-old Jeremiah Lamar Terry was cut short by gun violence. He was at a party when the fatal shooting occurred. Following the incident, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into the shooting.
