In the early evening of January 7, 2021, the life of 22-year-old Tyrone Dupree, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting at the Rivers Edge Apartments in North Augusta, South Carolina. The North Augusta Department of Public Safety responded to a call and discovered Dupree unresponsive at the apartment complex located on the 500 block of East Buena Vista Avenue. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
