A festive baby shower in Summerville, South Carolina, turned into a scene of violence on the evening of May 15, 2021, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Perry Jackson. The gathering, held in an open field on Miles Jamison Road, was shattered when an argument escalated into gunfire around 7 p.m. Perry Jackson was one of three individuals shot during the altercation and was later pronounced dead at Trident Medical Center.
