Rahiem Jaquan Fortune, a 24-year-old resident of Darlington, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2021. According to reports, Fortune was involved in a late-afternoon gun battle between individuals in two cars. The shootout occurred around West Broad and Milling streets in Darlington. Fortune's vehicle eventually ended up in a parking lot off Washington Street, near the Washington Square Apartments, where he succumbed to his injuries.
