In the early morning hours of July 25, 2021, the life of Corey Satrell Jackson, a 39-year-old Black male from Spartanburg, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Gunshots echoed on Ebel Court, and when law enforcement arrived around 2:19 a.m., they discovered Jackson deceased in his own front yard, a victim of fatal gunshot wounds.
