Rodney Johnson, aged 54, was tragically shot and killed on August 23, 2021, in Westminster, South Carolina. The incident occurred at a residence on Hobson Street, where both Johnson and the suspect, Carrie Leigh Tyner, lived. According to the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a call about shots fired around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Johnson deceased from a gunshot wound to the head.
