Sebastian Sanders, an 18-year-old from Marion, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2021, in a shooting incident at the Seaside Grove Apartments in the Carolina Forest area of Myrtle Beach. According to the Horry County Coroner's Office, Sanders was shot multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex, where officers were flagged down by a witness who was administering first aid to Sanders.
