Jairo Eleazer Martinez, a 32-year-old resident of Graniteville, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on January 4, 2022. Martinez was found dead in his home on Ascauga Lake Road after a well-being check was requested by his landlord. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Martinez lying on the floor near the door with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
