In the quiet community of Graniteville, South Carolina, a tragic event unfolded, leaving a family and the community heartbroken. One-year-old Elijah Jackson, a young male, lost his life on December 17, 2019, in a devastating act of violence that also claimed the life of his 26-year-old mother, Mel'lisha Jackson. The incident was a result of a shooting at their home. At the time of the shooting, there were eight people in the apartment.
