In the early morning hours of January 8, 2022, the life of 25-year-old Thomas Bostick was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting on East Pine Street in Florence, South Carolina. Bostick, a Black male, was discovered in the road by officers from the Florence Police Department who were responding to reports of a shooting victim at approximately 1:33 a.m.
Emergency medical services transported him to a nearby hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The Florence County Coroner's Office confirmed Bostick's identity and an autopsy was scheduled to be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina.
