In the early morning hours of January 8, 2022, the life of 25-year-old Thomas Bostick was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting on East Pine Street in Florence, South Carolina. Bostick, a Black male, was discovered in the road by officers from the Florence Police Department who were responding to reports of a shooting victim at approximately 1:33 a.m. Emergency medical services transported him to a nearby hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
