Jagdishbhai Patel, a 67-year-old resident of North Charleston, South Carolina, tragically passed away on June 30, 2022, after being shot at the Charleston Heights Motel on Rivers Avenue on June 25, 2022. The incident occurred when Darnell Dwayne Brown, 34, allegedly shot Patel during an altercation at the motel. Patel was immediately taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries five days later.
